As Dubai surprises, everyone with the developments and attractions. Here is another wonder by Dubai and it’s the Butterfly Park Dubai which is world’s biggest indoor collection of Butterflies. Now it is the home of around 15,000 butterflies around the globe.

Butterfly Garden consist of nine domes covering almost 18,000 square meters and have a capacity to hold almost 300 people. These domes are decorated with the range of flowers the home of Butterflies in various colors, size and species. The domes are climate controlled for the butterflies to get adapt to the environment which helps to open the park throughout the year. Butterfly Park is situated very near to Dubai Miracle Garden. Visitors can plan their trip by seeing both the attractions only going to one place.

There is a butterfly museum along with the garden and a butterfly flower park which is built to match the theme, the colorful creature, butterflies. The park already got a good impression from the locals and the tourist and feel the different colored butterflies, flowers which makes to feel everyone to visit the place often.

Before entering the park, there is a gallery of artworks inspired by butterflies including impressive collage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, made from hundreds of butterflies in different colors. Some decorative wall art is also displayed, but the saddest part is that it’s not for sale.

There are almost 32 different species of butterfly in the dome garden and some of them are rare and the beautiful one is like the eye of an owl, which is the biggest one featured in the park. There is a separate area for hatching and they get each butterfly as a pupa inside the dome.

The construction of the dome is in such a way that the natural light can come through the triangle window and its airy and bright. The temperature in the domes are tightly monitored as the outside temperature is too high and the butterflies can live in the temperature of 28° C.

How to get there?

Using public transport:

Take the Dubai Metro and get down at the MOE (Mall of the Emirates) station in red line. Then take Bus Route 105 to DMC or take Bus F30 via Arabian Ranches then get down at Saheel Fate 2 bus stop. Then walk little or take a taxi (5 minutes approx)
New bus route 105, from Mall of The Emirates metro station to Miracle Garden (5 Dirhams).
Bus Route 105 timing: Sunday to Thursday from 02:00 pm to 08:00 pm, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 pm (midday) to 10:00 pm. Service interval is 15 minutes.
